Scene Shot

For the scene shots we separated each colum into:
Scene
Setting
Props
Makeup/ Costume
Actors
Equipment

For each of these I have shown how and who will be used.

Consent Letter

The consent letter we did was so that each actor in our film could accept the condition and what the film is about. Usign this they agree to the terms of beign in this short movie.

Storyboard

When we created a storyboard it was quite simple and the illustrations weren't exact enough so we decided to start it again. When creating th storyboard we tried to encourpourate as many types of shots as possible varying from long shots to close ups givign us a range of angles nad shit to work with. This will help us create the right effect for the film.

Film Brief

For the film brief we explained what will happen in our movie and whats its about. This took planning as there were a lot of different types of movie genres we could choose from. Horror was chosen as this meant we could add scary effects and dramatic costume. When editing we can also provide quick changes to add the the overall effect on the movie.

The Target audience File

For the target audience file we looked into how we want our film to define our target audience upon the race, class, gender. Also the general audience we plan it to be for, next we looked into how other films represent woman as beign the victim in most horror films. By looking into the top 10 horror film and rteir breifs we could research how this will follow other horror movies.

The Script

The Script
For the script we created a few ideas of how the movie would begin, we firstly created the names for each of the characters that would be i the film. The characters names in this movie, are Shaun which is the killer and hasn't necessarily have a name as it will make Shaun seem more of a character we know about, so not giving him a name in the start of the movie keeps the intensity of his presence in the start.

Our Gantt Chart

In this post I will be talking about about our Gantt Chart. We created our Gantt Chartt the 10th November during a Media Lesson. We separated our Gantt Chart into 3 sections; Preliminary Task, Planning, Production and Evaluation. We seperated our Gantt Chart into a Key between David, Ben, Shaun and I. Ben constantly updates the Gantt Chart throughout the project if there is a change in the time structure or taking less time on a certain piece of work etc. In the planning we have had many tasks to do. Firstly we started with the film breif where we wrote about how our movie will work and what is going to happen throughout. Next we looked at other media works in comparision to ours for research. The target audience profile, took a while to do as it was how we will portray our movie to the audience and how it will be seen by them like race, class and gender.
Once doing that we researched the top ten thriller films to see how women are presented in films as they are usually the victims and we have decided to follow this.
Next we did the consent letter so that we have time just incase any of the characters change while planning.
